Ferrosilicon FS 65

Ferrosilicon FS 65 is an alloy of iron (Fe) and silicon (Si). The product is widely used as an additive in the production of heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, electrical, and spring-spring steel, as well as for casting some grades of cast iron. The silicon content in the ferroalloy varies in the range of 63-68 %, which helps to increase the strength of steel and its oxidation resistance. Common particle sizes of ferro silicon 65% are 0-3mm, 10-60mm, 10-100mm, etc. We are manufacturers of ferro silicon which can be customized according to our customers' requirements.

  Ferroalloy is supplied to the market in the form of briquettes (the thickness of which should not exceed 10 cm for long-term storage), lumps (weighing no more than 25 kg), as well as in the form of crushed particles (in accordance with the established supply requirements). Finished raw material must not contain mechanical impurities, except for individual inclusions of welded sand or traces of graphite.

The main area of application of raw materials is ferrous metallurgy, where ferrosilicon FS 65 is used not only to remove oxygen from steel but also as a reducing agent in metal other processes.
