silver block ferrovanadium 50% Description
Ferrovanadium 50 is used mainly for the production of alloy steel and cast iron. By binding nitrogen, ferrovanadium reduces the sensitivity of steel, increasing its strength, heat resistance, hardenability and wear resistance.
In addition to ferrovanadium FVd50, a number of other ferroalloys are produced, including silicovanium smelted in electric furnaces, as well as metallic vanadium and ferrovanadium FVd80 (up to 80% V), obtained by a special secondary furnace aluminothermic process.
