Ferroalloy Ferrovanadium 50% high quality Description
Ferrovanadium is a special ferroalloy containing 35-45% V, 1-3% Si, 0.5-1.5% Al (the rest is Fe and impurities). It is usually smelted in electric furnaces by silicothermal method from vanadium pentoxide (85-95% BaOz). Ferrovanadium is extracted by chemical-metallurgical processing of ferrovanadium concentrate. It is mainly used for alloying steel.
