50 Ferro Vanadium Description
Two types of ferrovanadium are commonly used, containing 50% and 80% vanadium. FeV50 is suitable for vanadium-containing grades and are added to steel in the same way. FeV50 has a higher melting point, it is suitable for both BOF and EAF applications because the ferrovanadium dissolves in the steel.
