Factors Affecting Titanium Recovery Rate in Ferrotitanium Smelting Processes

1) As the unit heat distribution increases, the recovery rate of titanium increases. But when the heat distribution reaches 3250 kj/kg, the titanium recovery rate actually decreases.
2) At a certain unit heat distribution, as the amount of lime added increases, the titanium recovery rate increases. However, if too much lime is added, the melting point of the slag decreases, the reaction temperature decreases, and the recovery rate of titanium decreases.
3) With top calcination, titanium recovery rate of more than 73% can be achieved.
4) The finer the particle size of aluminium, the higher the recovery rate of titanium. In addition to reducing the recovery rate, the aluminium content of the alloy also increases with increasing particle size.
