Ferro silicon production involves reducing silica and iron sources (scrap/ore) in electric arc furnaces using coke. The process includes crushing the raw materials, charging the furnace, and reducing them at high temperatures. Then, the materials are tapped, cast, and crushed into ingots or granules. The presence of other metals like aluminium, calcium, and carbon is kept to less than 2%, 1%, and 0.2%, respectively, to make sure that the process of turning the metal into a useful form is efficient. For example, FeSi75 limits the amount of aluminium to 1.5% and phosphorus to 0.035% to keep the steel pure. The alloy's stability at high temperatures makes it suitable as a reductant in ferrous alloy and chemical industries.

  We supply laboratory reports that show the chemical makeup of the materials (silicon, aluminium, carbon, phosphorus and sulfur) and the results of physical tests.
