Ferro Silicon 75
Ferro silicon is an iron-silicon alloy made by heating it in special furnaces. Its main job is to help make steel by removing oxygen, which involves a chemical reaction with silicon. The best application depends on the amount of silicon in the product: Ferro silicon 75 (74-80% Si) is used to make high-grade steel. The alloy changes the properties of molten metal by encouraging the formation of graphite in cast iron. Ferro silicon also generates heat during ladle treatment, which helps to keep the steel at the right temperature.
We make ferro silicon grades 45, 65, 72, and 75 on our own, without using other companies.
Our facility has 200,000MT of stock ready to be used.
Each order is checked four times to make sure it is good: the raw materials are checked using a spectrometer, the molten metal is analysed, the particles are screened, and the order is checked again before it is sent out.
