Silicon carbide 54C F30 grinding grit is widely used for the production of abrasive and cutting tools. Its high hardness (33 GPa) allows machining all possible surfaces: wood, glass, ductile metals, non-ferrous metals, cast iron, ceramics, bricks. The high density of this abrasive grain (3.21 g/cm3) is suitable for the production of sandblasting tools. Silicon carbide abrasive grit is used as a construction material, for the production of automotive parts, in electronics (due to its high conductivity).
