1. Dosage: Iron ore, silica ore (quartz) and reducing agent (coke or charcoal) must be prepared in the correct proportion.
2. Electric furnace smelting: The prepared raw materials are placed in an electric furnace, where iron and silicon ore are converted into iron and silicon under the influence of a high-temperature arc. They are then smelted to form a ferrosilicon alloy.
3. Casting and cooling of billets: Molten ferrosilicon is poured into ingots, which are then cooled to produce ferrosilicon ingots.
4. Crushing and Screening: A ferrosilicon ingot is crushed to the required particle size and screened to produce 75 ferrosilicon that meets the required specifications.
