A Guide To Using The Carboniser

When using the carbonizer in a medium-frequency electric furnace, it can be set to the middle or lower position, depending on the carbon content and the type of casting material. At the same time, the recovery rate of the carbonizer is more than 95%.

If there is not enough carbon in the carbonizer, you can adjust the amount by first cleaning the slag in the electric furnace and then adding the carbonizer. Then, heat the liquid iron and use electromagnetic agitation or artificial agitation to completely dissolve and absorb the liquid iron in the carbonizer. Therefore, the recovery rate of the carbonizer is about 90%.

When using a carbonizer in the low-temperature carbonization process, the furnace charge only melts a fraction of the liquid iron, and the temperature is relatively low. You can add a carbonizer to all the liquid iron at the same time and use a solid charge to press the carbonizer into the liquid iron so that it does not come into contact with air. This method of carbonizing liquid iron can achieve more than 99%.
