Making metal silicon powder is quite simple. You simply place a certain amount of coarse silicon powder in a plasma arc with an inert gas and heat it to a high temperature, causing the silicon powder to turn into silicon vapor. This vapor is then cooled and converted into nano-level metallic silicon powder.
Chemical vapor deposition method: Silane splits into silicon and hydrogen when there is a lot of hydrogen and heat or light is used. It quickly turns into a gas from which nanosilicon powder is obtained.
Ball grinding method: Larger silicon materials are ground into nano-sized powders using a machine that uses friction and collisions between particles. The ball grinding silicon metal powder has a high impurity content, the particle size distribution cannot be well controlled, and the subsequent processing is relatively cumbersome.
