In the steel making industry, every tonne of steel produced consumes about 3~5kg of 75% ferromanganese.
2, foundry industry: ferromanganese added to cast iron can be used as ductile iron inoculant and ductile iron, and can prevent the formation of carbide, promote the precipitation of graphite greatly shorten the spheroidisation time, but also significantly reduce the form of impurities in iron water, enhance the quality of cast iron, improve the performance of cast iron.
