Ferrovanadium has been shown to increase hardenability and tempering stability, increase the toughness and resistance of steel to variable loads. It can also be used to produce a fine-grained steel structure.
It is important to note that only tarnishing of the oxide film and traces of casting lining are allowed on the surface, contamination with sand, slag and other foreign materials is excluded.
Ferrovanadium is supplied in pieces weighing no more than 5 kg. The number of fine particles passing through a 10 mm sieve should not exceed 5% of the weight of the batch. At the request of the consumer, ferrovanadium can be produced in various size classes in accordance with the table given in the specification. Ferrovanadium is transported in steel drums.
