To make ferrovanadium, you start with vanadium pentoxide or slag. Then you heat these in a furnace with carbon to make the alloy. It is very important to test it properly, because impurities like sulfur or phosphorus can make the steel weaker. Our ferrovanadium 80 is checked for chemicals at different stages of production, like when the raw materials are inspected and again after the production process. Our tests make sure the size of the particles is the same, so they can be melted together easily in steel mills.
