Ferro Manganese Alloy Description
The industrial production of manganese begins with the extraction and enrichment of ores. If manganese carbonate ore is used, then it is pre-roasted. Then, usually, the manganese in the resulting concentrate is reduced using coke (carbothermic reduction). Aluminum or silicon are also used to restore manganese. Pure manganese is produced by electrolysis of aqueous solutions of manganese sulfate MnSO4, which is carried out in the presence of ammonium sulfate (NH4)2SO4.
The resulting material - manganese metal lump is a dense structure, consists of flammable substances, for example, coal, manganese, biomass and sodium nitrate.
Manganese Metal is widely used in the foundry industry. The use of this material gives the steel the properties of wear resistance, strength, and anti-corrosion. Steels and alloys obtained by alloying with manganese ore are further successfully used in mechanical engineering and the production of complex equipment.

Supply Ferro Manganese Alloy
Depending on the carbon concentration, there are several ways to produce ferromanganese:
Low carbon. Silicon manganese is used to reduce phosphorus-free manganese slag and oxides of manganese ore with lime. Low-carbon ferromanganese contains more than 85% manganese and 0.5% carbon.
Carbon. Produced using a coal lining from a charge. The latter contains coke, oxides of silicon, manganese and iron. Ferromanganese carbon is smelted in open or closed electric furnaces. The alloy consists of 86% manganese and 1-2% carbon.
High carbon. It is smelted in ore-thermal or blast furnaces. During the manufacturing process, manganese agglomerate is reduced with coke. High-carbon ferromanganese contains 7% carbon and at least 70% manganese.
